As part of Catholic Schools Week, students and teachers from St. Cyprian School recently visited Village Hall, the police department and the fire department. The students and their teachers wanted to say thank you to the Village of River Grove for supporting their school through the years.
"It was very touching," said Village Trustee Roger Sewell, pictured above with Mrs. Ptacek, Miss Grango and their students. "The kids at St. Cyprian have always been an important part of our community. The teachers there have done a fantastic job preparing their students over the years for success in high school and life. In reality, we should be the ones thanking them."
Students delivered hand made posters and thank you cards to the different village departments. Village officials enjoyed the opportunity to visit with and talk to the students who will one day become our future leaders.
