The River Grove Water Department will begin hydrant flushing and pressure testing Monday, Oct. 17th. The village has engaged M.E. Simpson, a water service contractor, to perform the testing. Testing will begin in the Thatcher Woods Shopping Center area and move through River Grove in sections. Water service may experience pressure fluctuations and discoloration during the testing. After testing, please run a faucet and clean screens to clear debris that may become dislodged during testing. Hydrant pressure testing and flushing is an important maintenance activity, ensuring proper flow to our fire hydrants in case of emergency.
